I'm pretty sure you weren't there then.
Let me paint you a picture with my pubic hair paintbrush...
It's a sexually vicious night in the plane of hate when what do you know, Innoruuk spawns! TMO engages first and gets him down to 10% before some terribly kind monks from TR show up and FD with a bunch of other NPC spectators behind them. (We're gonna call em... Ferun and Hawai in this thread!)
Innoruuk's NPC friends don't take kindly to people killing their bro and
TMO tries to finish off the mob to no avail, wipes to the train at 6% and Divinity rushes in to save the day...
Only, they didn't save the day- he was killed, but so was everyone from Divinity.
They then offered warrior items to us and bitched about Muffins looting the necro book because everyone was dead.
I remember on live, if you killed something and weren't alive to loot it before the corpse went open to the world, tough titties. Yew lose! Just like this dude here in Kaesora that drop traded a manastone recently, lost it to another person- and got it returned. So before you scream OMG plooter, let me be the first to scream, OMG NOT CLASSIC!

"Please note that whatever your setting, coin will always be dropped without confirmation. Additionally, the FastDrop option only applies to items being dropped upon the ground. Handing items to NPCs will still work regardless of your FastDrop setting.
It is highly recommended that you use option 'CONFIRM', as GMs will not reimburse any items that are accidentally dropped."
Or you know, any corpses that are accidentally not lootable because you're not alive.
