What sucks is that the old infected paw was removed before the spoiler sites and mob databases like Illia's Bestiary really got off the ground, so there's not a lot of info.

This post references a named that I haven't heard before anywhere and isn't even on the map. It's hard to be sure what's real and what's not.

As I was resting up, preparing to attack them, old Kurrpok Splitpaw (or however you spell it) spawned, and the Executioner killed him. When the Executioner killed him, he died mumbling what he used to, way back when... "my eye, blah blah blah". Now back in the day, when you killed him, a DE Wizard (higher than anything in the zone back then - about 30th level)would spawn and demand the gem. To my knowledge, when Kurrpok died last night, the wizard did not spawn (but I don't have track). I bet if you cleared the area (Judges and Exec), when Kurrpok spawned, you could kill him and get the gem. You get the second "eye" by killing Lynguna (or whatever) in Innothule Swamp (the troll woman that you can give rubies to for one of three items-including the nice earring). I don't know if the skull dropping assassin still spawns in West Karana, but I might just have to go check soon, for old times sake. Just kinda fun to watch the Executioner kill Kurrpok.

Editing in that I did level in this zone as a paladin back in the day before the update and it was fun but hard and scary and we only went about halfway in because it was so hard and scary also sorry if this is starting to sound like a erotic fanfic post.
