Some sounds are squished together in a compilation file, type *.eff I think. Inside the eff lives wav if I recall right?

Oh, that's very possible. I just know for sure that there's a ton of wav files in that folder. I have no idea if
every sound is in there or if some are in other places (so it's
entirely possible the "ding" is in an .eff file).
