In short the current math seems close enough to accurate. As far as the timeframe goes the min damage kick he appears to be talking about was after that damage table increase. I only started playing right before Velious and always remember the higher values but that's anecdotal. One thing that could be searched for is info on thunderous kick because I bet that monks were tediously working on figuring out the math of how the damage is calculated for that disc. Min damage thunderous kicks would be based off of the min damage flying kick.
