I thought I would update this thread in honor of Trump's Mexican tariff tweet. My read here is that Trump has three goals:
- Pelosi & the Obstructionists (err, the Democrats) who have no agenda other than whatever Trump doesn't want to do will suddenly fall all over themselves to pass his new trade bill, the USMCA
- The new tariffs will probably (80% confidence) never be implemented. I imagine most Mexicans are not thrilled with these migrant caravans anyway - anyone else remember the migrant who made a video about how they were taking over Tijuana and they found his body the next day? - and this will give their government an incentive to actually do something about it. So Trump can stop the migrants even before the Wall is built.
- At this point Trump probably wants to crash the stock market (50% confidence) or is at least indifferent. The World Socialists/Deep State/MI6/Illuminati/satanists/pedophiles/Chinese Communists/KGB/whatever you want to call them set this crash in motion the day Trump was elected when Powell began raising interest rates and lowering the Fed's balance sheet. The plan is most likely for the various CCP members to dump all of their assets at once (remember that trade deficit? 500 billion x 20 years = 10 trillion in US financial assets). If Trump is now indifferent to this, it's probably because he's confident he can place the blame on the conspiracy where it belongs, and that means he's about to begin indictments starting with Brennan and Comey.
