This. If you want to kill "NPCs" instead of just "monsters", you kill guards.
Also, take the wiki ZEMs with a grain of salt. They're really the classic EQ/stock EQ Emulator ZEMs ... but the P99 staff altered those ZEMs here to make them more mysterious (in a very strange departure from their normal focus on "classic mechanics over a classic environment").
As a result, they're incorrect for many zones ... but since no one knows the correct numbers, the wiki relies on those (
sometimes correct) ZEMs.
