the annoying part about using rod for cooldown reset is it requires a target, and it has a big bright graphic that goes everywhere. it's really distracting. with gobby ear you just click it. Also you get a dummy buff out if it :B
I dunno I always take a gobby ear on a caster over scope or rod or whatever. Maybe that's just me :B
