Basically displayed AC is a combination of mitigation and avoidance. Your "real AC" can be calculated by counting the AC on your armor.

EQ Live finally changed how this was displayed in 2017 to split out avoidance and mitigation into two separate stats on your character sheet.

Then again, who knows how it works here really.


Also worth noting: different classes receive different benefits from AC. With cloth casters receiving the lowest benefit. On live it went something like this: Warrior got 50%, Knights and Monks got 33%, Priests, Bards, Rangers and Rogues got like 20%, and clothies got 10%. (Numbers from memory so probably not perfect.) BUT everyone gets the full value of their shield AC.

But again, who knows how it works here.
