Networking gains. Reconnected with the MD who taught my micro/nutrition class 10 years ago and have an open invitation to ask him any medical questions I have related to my studies. He’s so nice and smart, one of the most influential teachers I’ve ever had — although the fucker never did pat me on the head for my answers or comments in either of his classes. Still a little salty about that, but.. this is huge to have him as a resource and possible character witness/reference.
