There are several ways to make money, one of the best ways is to sell bonechips (necromancers of all levels need them) A single stack will earn you 3 plat, which is a lot for a low level character. Other then that just vendor all stuff you can't use.
I guess this depends on where you are, but bone chips usually sell for about 10p for a stack of 20 around East Commons.

They were taking up slots in my limited bag space rofl and someone asked in ooc to buy bone chips. He just threw coin in the trade window; we never discussed it and i had no idea what the going rate for bone chips were anyway.
I figured i was getting ripped but honestly, i was about to sell them to a vendor bc i don't know how to sell to players in this game lolz I come from EQ2 where you just chuck it on the broker and come back a few days later.
So ok i shoulda read up on this stuff first cuz i could use the coinage hehe
