when i was leveling my enchanter from 35 onwards charmin guards in grobb, i was making around 1k an hour.
i then went on to farm yaks and FBSS's when they were selling for 15k each. got 3 yaks in one night once

and just other small items here or there like hooded black cloaks etc.
... and i wasnt even around for manastones.
takes a bit of time, but if you dont waste your money, you end up building a bit of bank.. just find high value items and farm em.
but yeah... im a solo player. did little grouping.
