Immigration is the one area where Democrats should concede some space. It’s okay to be concerned about the solvency of your institutions amid an onslaught of illegal and legal immigration (including asylum). Alternatively, Republicans are bad faith actors whose platform can almost entirely be proven as ineffective using examples from every other developed country.
Your best areas are enclaves at best whose success can be boiled down to:
- good climate attracting wealthy people.
- resource rich country
- too tier research and education pre-1990
- opportune timing and positioning for rebuilding the world (post WW2).
- relatively homogenous population during the most important period.
Any 1st world country able to select even 2/5 of those is either past you or passing you in QOL. There’s no excuse. America needs ranked choice, viable third parties and at the very minimum, quality education ACROSS THE COUNTRY to be able to escape bumper sticker politics.
Democrats are not the answer but Republicans are DEFINITELY not. A swing to the right now will only further calcify this trend and ensure every last drop of wealth that was created goes to your best zip codes or, more likely, overseas.

We have horrible horrible rot in our government. The establishment on republican and democrat side are bought out by foreigners. They will bleed us a slow death while they fund Israel from within the US and out.
You're kind of clueless of what is going on at the border. Establishment democrat elites are the decision makers for their parties. Open borders dooms demographics for anyone who desires responsible spending in government. It has nothing to do with whats right for america. It's like a checkmate move for the establishment to make that ensures their power forever, in just a number of years. They get to make more and more of these bloated bills with irresponsible spending that does stuff like sends more money to Israel. Then Israel bombs the rest of the middle east with our resources and then somehow we're back at war in the middle east fighting that skirmish. And our low/middle class wages stay stagnant because we have hordes of low class workers filtering in from the border. And tons and tons of other problems.
