It's a fine idea to place 10% of your capital into risky investing, especially if you're young, as it has potential to go up. You just described a toxic societal problem, while seemingly trying to blame the people affected by it. Money is a fabrication, as is inequality. Poor people generally stay poor because the structures of current capitalistic society force them to remain there. People not having investment knowledge shows a problem with society not providing the education. Moreover, such a thing should not be valued by society in the first place. People should not center their lives around the pursuit of money and individuals should not have 1,000x more "worth" than someone else as a result of manipulating a fabricated system.
