I especially like his tongue in cheek jab at the church as well. The church was the only support mom found to break free from her cocaine addiction. I'll take the good with the bad. I'd rather have the Jesus Freak mother now, then the coke addict mother then. Some people need something bigger than themselves, when time proves again and again that they fail when they just have themselves. That's ok. Orthodoxy not my bag, but I see how it can be important/valuable/necessary to others.
I guess Silver Spoons' "bigger than himself" is just a dead geriatric cripple in a wheelchair; helluva god he has going there. Anyhow.....*eyeroll*
