i was able to convince a group of my friends for a while, and most of them hadn't ever played. the nice thing about red is that there is an exp boost and no competition of over camps, so you guys will be free to explore and level as you please. this can make it an easier sell for friends than blue (where exp drips and all the good spawns/areas are perma-camped).

Sounds great. Have you told your friends yet that EQ isnt a lan DnD game for 3-4 people but a MMORPG meant to be played with 100s and 1000s.
You might want to clear thie s up before they get to high level and realize it on their own.
