I couldn't disagree more. Respect your opinion, you do you. Never have I wished to replay DAOC. It never had that special certain something (to me).

I can name some of the classes, I can recall being with my friends and getting sniped by stealth archers. I think they had some sort of sneak attack bonus and a skill that allowed them to run away quickly for a moment then go stealth once out of range.

We played it on release day. I can't name a single player city, dungeon or area. I recall visual memories of some places but for the most part DAOC was a toss away game. I do not recall anyone roleplaying on DAOC. It was pvp focused, no worthwhile memories leveling up or talking with other people. I can't even recall the server name but I can tell you Bristlebane to this day. I can recall the name of the kid I met in Qeynos and traveled to Freeport with, his gnomes name was Bestill.

Edit: I can appreciate people wanting something new. Hope you guys have fun.
