I wish I could say your analogies are useless but that would be inaccurate. We can use them as bad examples.
There are not any findings of Russia colluding with Trump and influencing the presidential election of 2016. You can say "as of yet" but that is speculation and conjecture not backed by fact or anything conclusive.
Your analogy makes for a weak argument. We scientifically KNOW that planting tree will not grow to full height in one day. Complaining about something we know to be factual (as least based on scientific perception and empirical evidence) is by definition stupidity.
Your argument would be better supported by saying "We do not know what the final score will be until the game is actually ended". The game still continues (with a near indefinite clock) and we (as the public) do not know what the final score will be until the refs (Mueller's team) actually blows the whistle and calls the game.
Hope this helps you but i doubt it will.
