Playing Red99 in it's current state is simply playing the RPG component in MMORPG.

I have a 60 torpor shaman on Blue as well as a stable of well geared alts yet I prefer to play Red for none of the
factual reasons you posted above. Some of us enjoy playing EQ as we please instead of placing our name on a list and having to wait for hours for every worthwhile camp, poopsocking raid mobs while staring at a wall for long periods of time, and dealing with petty disputes via lawyerquest.
