In the song, the girl is enjoying herself, implies she wants to stay, but does not want to suffer the slutshaming of the era. When she says "what's in this drink?" she most certainly is not suggesting it's been tainted with date rape drug. She's either suggesting it is strong, or more likely presenting it as an excuse to stay, which conforms to the silly nature of the song and the habit of blaming socially unacceptable behavior on alcohol in that era.

and now I feel I have been duped into typing far more than any sane person should on this topic and in a way feel like this is somehow an indictment on my usual attempts to argue first principles in a vacuum.
