Like when your daughter sneaks out of the house to go hang out with that boy that you told her would rape her and she gets raped, that's her fault.
it's also your fault for not putting bars on her window and punishing her well enough so that she actually listens to you.

It is saying there is such thing as rape so don't do these things so you can avoid it.

There's a huge difference between someone who is raped by a trusted friend or a stranger where they never saw it coming, compared to someone who made very poor decisions that it was very clear they were going to end up getting or harmed
