it is, actually. there's absolutely no excuse or reason for rape. and the unfortunate reality is that capitalism didn't value her enough to do anything about it, because she wasn't worth much to the system. genuinely tragic. the idea that you do no harm by victim blaming is profoundly obtuse. i sincerely hope you never have to experience what that woman went through.
