I don't think anyone on the staff cared about red more than Derupal. Even put that thread in server chat that more people should move across and give it a try - with predictably mixed responses.
Was a shame when he tried to get recently disbanded Nilly and Azrael to work together in Dagnor's vs a spawned Cazic Thule... pvp happened, and Lite refused to work with other guilds. Deru flipped a table and cancelled the whole thing - watched it on Twitch
