Those chicken never saw the sun rise. There were kept in a dark disease ridden pavilion their whole lives. They were fed cheap corn laced with mass amounts of antibiotics that keeps the chickens swole for some reason. Some of them are so fat they can stand on their legs so they just kind of lay there huffing and eating that corn.

Or you can not cheap free - ranged chicken that is a little more humane. You can find it for $4.00 a pound or less.
