But when that happens the GMs will refund your stuff (and maybe suspend the guy who had the "accident"). When you drop it and someone picks it up, you're 100% SOL.
I'd rather have 100% certainty of keeping my stuff with a slight chance of whoever I ask to help me transfer screwing me (and then getting screwed by the staff) than have any chance of truly losing my items.
