For a shaman, necromancer is a very solid duo option. There's some weirdness with your dots not-stacking, but the two of them have puh-lenty of options. Use Iksar for both and enjoy having unlimited hp and mana forever.

Shamans and Necros together are great.
They have so many mana/hp regen tools that they either toss to each other. They'll fill up on both relatively quickly.
