Why not? That, too, is arbitrary. There's little to no scientific backing to a claim that culling unwanted offspring is always wrong. Many species, and even human societies of the past and present, practice it regularly. this is a straw man as it gets you can't this is just ridiculous this is just a straw man argument there plenty of animals that have sex and then eat each other that doesn't mean by any logical stretch of imagination that we should consider allowing that.

it's not arbitrary what I'm saying when I'm saying is the least arbitrary of all the concepts that have been laid out so far if the egg is fertilized it is a person.

That of all options is the least arbitrary and most logical and scientific.
