don't conflate "morals" and "getting what you want"
GMs are careful about IP exemption precisely because rule-breakers out there "immorally" box and ruin the game for the rest of us.
So while the slowness may annoy you, you should be thankful to them. Be patient, and good on ya for enjoying the game with friends!
