It makes perfect sense that Erudites (and High Elves) can be Paladins but not Warriors (or Rogues or Monks), as these races are inherently drawn to magic. So even if they have the urge to be a melee kind of person, they still have to adhere in some small way to their magical lineage.
I agree that Barbarian Rogue is a mismatch though. I always thought they should be able to be Paladins, as that lines up with their sense of justice and the fact they were created by Mith Marr. Would also make sense for them to be Rangers, considering how their culture revolves around hunting outdoors as a way of life. Dwarf Rogue also feels out of place, as their culture is even more against being a loner and they are not exactly the lightest on their feet.

Agreed, definitely feels like they should have a Bard option rather than Cleric (never saw Halflings as being into that kind of organized religion).
