I got pulled over the other day doing 80 in a 60, and there was a guy next to me doing the same speed. The thing is, I turned like a mile down the road before pulling over, while the other guy went straight, so the cop followed me the let the other guy go on. He asked me how fast I was going, and I said 70. He then asked if I knew the other guy or if we were racing or anything, and I said no. He said okay, I clocked you at 80, but you admitted to 70, so I wrote it for 70, have a nice day. If the dude wanted to be a dick, he could have written it for 80, he could have said I was trying to protect the other guy, and searched me, called backup to have the other guy pulled over, etc. but he didn't because he's just some dude doing his job.

You are working against yourself here. You were hurting no one, just trying to get somewhere and the cop is fucking with you . Traffic violations are a fucking joke, an excuse to validate the existence of the "Beat cop."
Last i checked the assumption that someone is "protecting" another is not probable cause, so no, he couldnt have searched you. and even if he did "call back up" to have the other guy pulled over, you werent racing him. so where is this guys compassion? He didnt do something that he isnt allowed to do...HES SO COMPASSIONATE! Give me a break, you cant be that dumb.

A few months back, I got pulled over for following too closely on some back ass road. The cop asks me why I was following so close, etc. and I said I just didn't realize I was too close. She just told me a little story about a fatal accident the other day from someone following too closely, and then told me to be careful and let me go. Same case here, you were hurting no one and yet the bitch cop decides to pull you over and give you a talking to about better judgment(the obvious humor here is that a cop is giving anyone advice on anything.) I would have spit in that bitches face and told her where she could stick that "story." (which im sure was bullshit to begin with.)

A couple years ago, my friend was selling small amounts of pot because he was out of work and down on his luck at the time. He got pulled over one day and the cop searched his car and found a half ounce of pot, bags, scale, etc. The cop just said "Empty the pot on the ground and stomp it into the ground, then you're free to go. Merry Christmas." My friend could have been pretty hosed, but the cop wasn't a prick.

Pretty hosed? 14grams of weed is fucking misdemeanor bro. Thats a ticket, at WORST he spends a couple hours in a holding cell til RoR'd. Its not that he wasnt being a prick as much as he was being typically lazy.

Also a couple years ago, same friend was at some parking lot doing donuts in his (not so) sweet whip. A cop pulls in from the far side of the parking lot with their lights on, and my friend being the genius he is bolts out of there in his car and goes on a short chase down several residential streets at well over double the speed limit before finally coming to a stop in another parking lot a couple miles away. He looks at the corner he just came around, not sure if he lost the cop or not. Couple seconds later the cop rounds the corner and catches him in the parking lot. She asks him "Are you going to deny you were doing donuts in the parking lot?" He says nope. She then asks "Are you going to deny that you ran when you saw the police lights?" he says nope. She then writes him a ticket, can't remember what it was exactly, exhibition of speed I believe? Wound up being a $400ish fine and that's it. Do you have any clue how FUCKED he could have been if the cop wanted to be a dick?

Oh yeah the cop was so nice, only a $400 ticket, fuck that cop, he has no business even bothering these citizens. Here is a crazy notion, but how about that cop goes and tries to stop a real crime, instead of eating up tax dollars on his meager salary fucking with people who havent done anything wrong.
