I know most people didn't take my stories that seriously. But there was a message I was trying to express about the relationship between GMs and players. And how we might be able to somehow get along better with a less antagonistic approach. It's both sides. Whether guild officers that try to get every last pixel for their guild, by petitioning every little thing. Or the heavy-handedness that GMs take in response to all those petitions and forum abuse. It goes beyond individuals or even guilds.
Lately there's been a growing rift which has made me feel rather sick. Physically sick. I don't know how it could get better. "The Prophesy" of a player and GM was what I was heading towards explaining. A person (or a few people) who can perhaps act as more of a go-between or liason might be healthy for this server. There's really no one in the middle and I think each side gets stuck in their own bubble and can't understand the other side. Thus making it worse for everyone than it has to be.
