As someone whose only option for kids is to adopt, race wouldn’t be a consideration. White kids are probably all taken anyway.

This pretty much. I don’t care race. Just the opportunity to take care and raise a small human is pretty rewarding to me... plus I need someone to give my stuff to when I die.
