It was mostly because it seemed the big names would say whatever they wanted and took no prisioners. Jeremy was the jokester who'd make anything into a joke, Alarti was the TMO spinmaster, and who could forget Tiggles? I sure couldn't. Idk but it seems to me at least that everything's a bit more cut off, or at least done more in private such as guild discords and whatnot.
It's a shame. I thrived on the drama that would ensue and the friends I made. I love eq but it isn't the same without a ~2001 era esque forum board with a section of pissed off raiders spewing piss and vinegar. Maybe Server King™ Detoxx needs to decree some mayhem so that we get the delicious drama that brought so many of these names mentioned in the thread back.
