Troll is my personal favorite. Great starting stats, slam, regen is cool but when you have THAT many hit points its an extra drop of water in the ocean.

Warriors by size

Large Warriors (Barbarians, Ogres and Trolls)

Slam is worth it.
- Yeah kick starts stunning at level 55. There are only 60 levels, you are giving yourself a 55 level disadvantage. Slam makes caster fights much more bearable and has a chance to stun. Large Warriors are truly superior because of their beefy stats

Troll Starting Stats

Compare these to an Ogre
+Slam, +Frontal Stun Immunity
STR 140 STA 132 AGI 75 Dex 70

Ogres claim superiority in the strength department (22/27 point advantage over TRL/BAR) and stamina (13/27 point advantage). They are supposed to have frontal stun immunity(not sure how well that works atm). Quite frankly Ogres are the superior warrior by stats.


The rest of the Pack

Other races can make great warriors, the beauty of the class is that while large races are the front runner with the right gear the playing field is seriously leveled (Even a dark elf and Gnome can eventually max out STR and STA).

Dark Elf Starting Stats
+Hide, Look cool?

Dark elves are fun to play but their physical stats kinda suck. They do have great Agility but the rest is very average. Overcome it with lots of stamina and strength gear. You do look really cool though.

Dwarf Starting Stats
+15mr
STR 100 STA 100 AGI 75 DEX 90

Dwarves have great starting stats, best strength for a non-large race and they roll!

Gnome Starting Stats
+tinkering
STR 70 STA 80 AGI 90 DEX 85

Gnomes don't have great stats, their agility and dex is above average.

Half Elf Starting Stats
STR 80 STA 80 AGI 95 DEX 85

Half elves have a very balanced starting build with a above average dex and agi I don't see any glaring flaws in their game.

Halfling Starting Stats
+Sneak +Hide
STR 80 STA 85 AGI 100 DEX 90

In my opinion if you are not a Ogre of Troll warrior, be a Halfling (closely followed by dwarf and barb). Why? Sneak and Hide gives you flexibility outside of combat (trading, questing, moving through dangerous areas) that no other warrior has.

Human Starting Stats
STR 85 STA 85 AGI 80 DEX 75

Humans similar to half elves are very balanced, probably never been a bad human warrior.

Iksar Starting Stats
+Regen, +natural AC bonus, No plate armor till Velious
STR 80 STA 80 AGI 95 Dex 85

Iksar pretty much make good anything, but lack of plate kinda sucks for a gear depending mitigation based class

Wood Elf Starting Stats
Hide
STR 75 STA 75 AGI 100 Dex 80

Really only be a wood elf if you really like Wood elves...They do look really cool in platemail though.

If you just want the best stats go with Ogre, otherwise go with what you think is cool. If I personally ever play a warrior on P99 (played one on live for a long time) I'd roll halfling or troll or ogre.
