Honest to God, if you tell me about some of the stuff you like in movies, series, books, etc, I can and will do my best to find you a down to earth, rounded show you might like to hopefully help with that issue you've encountered with too many anime. I know there's slightly normal themes out there. I liked Cowboy Bebop. When I was a teen I worked late and would watch Adult Swim because it had a chill vibe and I'd watch Cowboy Bebop. I remember liking the intro and the dog.
