ye s the only way to get muscular definition is to lose fat. you'll eventually need to develop muscles, so it's best to workout simultaneously so you don't atrophy while getting "Toned". the idea that muscles themselves are toned or not toned is myth.

Also personally if I don't sweat at the gym I don't feel like I've had a workout...get on the treadmill yowl
