So when warrens and stonebrunt was first added they forgot to add the trivial loot code and high level players were screwing over low level players.
Trivial loot will be removed either in the next big patch or the final patch of velious on p99.

Briefly, the Trivial Loot Code works like this: If a character kills an NPC and that NPC does not give them experience, then the Trivial Loot Code takes effect. So it's likely that the trivial loot will be removed after the chardok 2.0 patch, unless they lump it in.
