Our system requires lots of little trash humans to consume. We leave our borders open so we can enjoy the indentured servitude of brown peasants trying to buy citizenship in our great land for their children with their sub-minimum wage labor. Of course there is horror in the United States and in most states you can sink just as low as you deserve instead of hitting much of a safety net. It is very easy to avoid falling into that position and ignorant to paint that as the shape of America. America has Australia's neck under its boot while it says thank you for a reason.
