It's not even a reputation issue: if someone steals your stuff it's extremely likely (maybe even guaranteed?) that the staff will recover it, and the thief will get punished.

Even better, another new thing I learned about the server today, entered here thinking it was a bit more wild and pleasantly surprised to see it is much better!
