That reminds of that interview of Jack Ma (worth USD 40 billion, founder of Alibaba.com), where he told the story of the first KFC opening in his city (Shanghai?) and doing an initial recruitment round.
Jack Ma applied for a job there since he was unemployed.
Out of 30-odd people who applied, he was the only one to be denied.
