I played till about a year ago. Now I want to return and level at a slower pace.
I've done a complete fresh installs carefully several times. Whenever I run the eqgame.exe shortcut (with patchme) or "launch titanium.bat" I get the Daybreak login screen.
I've tried admin, win xp sp2 compatibility, target with path in quotes and without. I've run out of ideas.
Any suggestions?

Kinda sounds like you didn't actually install the titanium client, and instead installed the current client?
