Y'all are aware of two potential pipelines (one is US backed and the other is Russian Federation backed) that go through Syria, right? Daywolf is off a rocker, but his understanding of proxy wars wasn't off the mark. The RF pipeline has plans to go through Iraq after originating in Iran. Bolton fucked Iraq (hes, we had the receipts of sale of chemical and biological weapons, but Sadam used them on Iranians and Kurds. Whomever gets to feed Europe (banking, financing, economic capital generation in Western Culture) gets to play the hand that feeds it card, but Europe (the majority (decent percentage wise)is in NATO. This fight's been brewing for almost a century, since the Russo-Japanese War where in which former president Theodore Roosevelt negotiated the tearms of peace that crippled the Russian military for a good minute (relativity for rhythm (Azzar understsnds)). Pay back can be a bitch, but military technology is a hell of a lot different. Nagasaki sent a message that's starting to wear off.
