protip chinese private, non corporate landlords are even worse because they are under no legal obligation to obey the US's landlord tenant laws. but at least the corporate ones have to care about outward facing image among their customers. private citizen landlords don't even throw the occasional bone lol.

like at least with your white owned building if you're renting and they don't fix your fridge for two months you can actually sue someone.
