As a wizard, I would say to go druid. I've played a shaman, which has a lot of similarities to a druid and is the reason that I went wiz instead of dru. I don't regret my decision, but if I didn't have a shm, I would definitely go dru. Wizards are just not terribly interesting to play, and druids get a lot more cool stuff (heals, regen, damage shield, sow, among other things mentioned).
