I think the warrior gearing path can be simplified.
Get HP rings.
Get a staff of battle.
Jade Mace and another good, cheap DPS for offhand.
Focus AC first. Banded will take you farther than you'd imagine. Keep investing in your armor as you level.
Then you can start saving for a haste item, however I found it was more valuable to buy cultural armor to make myself a stronger tank over a stronger DPS.
Join a raid guild and get the rest of your stuff.
