If you are in a group you are going to have to twist, cc, pull...probably throw in snare and charm. If you don't like twisting you will either hate bard or be a really bad one --- there are no shortage of bad grouping bards out there.

My personal ethic is I always maximize what I can do on a toon so I refuse to play it poorly which means I will make my fingers twist, I will pull, and cc, and charm, and do everything else I should be doing.
This means sadly bard is not for me.
