Am I need to buy any armor or weapons (I buy only basic armor with AC on it)? Is it reasonable to create a group and farm mobs with someone? I notice that not much people use LFG system, most people solo all the way?
P.S. I enjoy the server and the game so far. looking forward to more group focus experience.

Very clear instructions above.
AC gear for you wont make a big difference. What will benefit you the most is raw HPs and CHA for charming.
Charming becomes very nice once you are a tad higher level, but when charm breaks the mobs hit you very hard and can kill you.
It's good to have as much HP as possible, and CHA will make charm more reliable and hold longer for your enchanter.
The best HP items are the player crafted rings, they are 55hp/5ac, and can be bought for 150pp each or so from a player named Stockmarket in EC.
Spider Fur Boots also are nice, they are very cheap and are 45hps/5CHA.
Bracelet of Woven Grass are cheap, they are 3int/12hps.
