The northern CA coast grows some pretty killer outdoor weed. Those counties (less so del norte) are famous for it. But southern Oregon is actually better. Their indoor is too.
And indoor is the highest selling because the buds come out stinky and impressive-looking. More so than outdoor. Outdoor doesn't look and smell as good usually, but in reality the THC content is all there and more -- there is no replacing the sun. So if you want to be a real connoisseur don't jump on that indoor bandwagon with the associated premium price.
The best I hear is from Hawaii and Australia. Mexico could be good but usually isn't...they got great grow conditions just shitty production habits. The Baja area mostly from what I hear (and the cost line east of it)....any country south of Mexico is probably a similar story to Hawaii and Australia....but why grow pot when you can grow Coca?
