Well, feminists have specifically argued for paid leave for childcare. I don't know if they have pushed for father only-paid leave yet...but that has proven to be extremely effective. See, women absorb a disproportionate amount of the cost of child-rearing on a macro scale. Father-only paid leave is a way to help balance that.
We could also consider a women head of household tax break.
But I assume the right has some bullshit pro-business shitkicker argument against this.
Edit: One member of a gay family has to identify as the father for tax purposes. At least that's how they do it in Sweden. The other partner gets the mother benefit package.
