yeah real estate there's a bubble that has never nor will ever burst. I don't know what the real estate situation is like in the UK, but in the US prices seem to be back up to where they were in 2007 (some places even higher) and we are yet to see the effect rising interest rates will have on property prices. If there's a recession you could see property prices tanking, and I'm not really sure what power the fed will have when interest rates are already artificially low. Not really such a thing as a "safe" investment, best thing to do is diversify.

I actually think crypto's could be great for diversifying, because it essentially is a new asset class (in my opinion, no idea what the consensus is among finance people.)
