Million dollar contracts, but wears jeans to work.
Is that like when I was responsible for a five million dollar vehicle? Sounds cool out of context, but is actually a normal middle level job responsibility?

A few years ago I worked summers as a lock keeper on the River Trent. Nice gig; get to spend as much time as I like outdoors, but decent indoor welfare facilities if I need them. Vast majority of punters are happy holidayers or a few professionals.
End of season could kick back and watch videos, read books or whatever (cough strictly on lunch breaks) as there was little traffic and I'd have completed all maintainance work while the weather was still kind.
Lots of equipment and cargos going up and down the River worth a decent amount, and it was up to me to negotiate their passage.
Worked evenings and winters in a leisure centre bar to keep me social. Nice place to work a bar as nobody is there to get shitfaced, again nice friendly job and work environment.
